Cut out approx 3 inches. Best to cut it inhalf and attach both halves to the car overlapping them and mark what fits best, remove and cut then re attach to car and weld together.
EDIT: get two people and mock it up on your car with a few sheet metal screws starting an the wheel wells, maybe yours will fit better than mine didLeave a comment:

Got rained out all day, still managed to fab the intake, and welded the vbands to the downpipes, installed the downpipes, and partially installed a late model rear valance. I had canopys over the car and plastic walls to try and keep rain out so couldn't get many pics

i figured it had something to do with subscribers after i made the post lol, a merge would be good, then u wouldnt have to update two threads, less work for ya :) and dont think the post count adjustment is really needed.
back on track, love that you went with the corvette covers, makes the engine look sexy. so wish i had the money/tools/know how to drop an lsx motor in the e28.Leave a comment:
