              Load bearing sticker is awesome.

I thought cage builders drop the mostly welded cage through the floor to weld the tops of the tubes and then weld the floor supports in last or just leave enough gap between cage and roof to weld? Is there a situation where a not completely welded cage is acceptable?

lol, those stickers are sweet! sucks about the cage, but i guess its good that your are still moving on. Maybe sometime in the (distant?)future u will be able to get the cage fixed?

nice work so far, keep it up!

Technically, the cage is fixed as far as conference is concerned. Plus, my wife was getting tired of me moping around about it, she said "either get it fixed, live with it, or sell the damn car. I'm tired of seeing you all pissy all the time."

I didn't know you could make a early model into a pro-3 car? What conversions must be done?

You just need to install an i motor. If it is an early 318, you would need to upgrade the diff, the rear drums, etc to i parts.

And the harness/ecu. Mine had already been swapped, so I did not need to do the conversion. Another guy I know started with 318 shell, and there was a bunch more he needed to change over. One benefit of starting with an early chassis, is that the bumpers (while not the prettiest) are lighter than the plastics.
