Also the gas mileage on a M42 is awesome.

      oh and these came in...

You're going to hate life if you install those solid transmission mounts. I had them in for about 15minutes... that's all I could stand.

You are welcome. I found it from a R3V member that posted in one of the shock option threads.

nope the car is getting pretty much tracked out... also I've always driven my race cars on the streets too. I've had a handful of cars and several were complete race car builds. My current STI is on a 625lbft clutch along with lots of other track related goodies... and I drive is everywhere.

I know it'll be firm. That is what I am hoping for. This car will see some drifting duty also.

I got the idea from a member of the E30 forum R3Vlimited to throw Camaro rear shocks on the rear of my E30. It seems simple enough because they are similar standard shock design. There’s thre…

for those that are lazy to read... they are cheap, shorter than E30 stuff, and stiffer than Bilstein Sports.

I have one full coil cut in front, KYB camaro rears, KYB fronts (soon to be bilstein for more firmness, although no complaints with the KYB's), Race Springs, No spring pads, and E90 Drop Hats. Sway bars and such will come later. The car handles really well. I can toss it around corners way harder than I would expect to be honest. I really had to try hard to get this car to drift even with really tossing it into corners and clutch kicking. I will be going to 650lb springs next in the rear to add a little more firmness.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I wetsanded and polished up the new/old door to replace the dented original one. It is missing some clear and will definitely need some paint down the road, but it is more than good enough to rock for the time being.

I love the weekends. My E30 looks a little different after each one. I was able to throw the new/old door on today.

naw man... I didn't have the extra time to do that today, and I just wanted the car to look good for an event I am going to tomorrow (that's why I hung the door instead). That will probably be next weeks project. I am hoping to pick up some seatrails and buckets soon, and then get the inside stripped down. After that it'll be swapping out the old LSD for a new one and hitting the track.

                                just for kicks...
