Some photos from this past weekend at Streets of Willow running CW
Best time of the day for me was 1:30:34 Not bad as I know there are some spots I can push harder

Got too aggressive chasing down an E92 M3 also running similar times. Great to know my car can hang with the big new and more expensive v8s ;)

Heads and a cam may be everything I need to make that power but the electronics is very easily solved with the lingenfelter reluctor box to adapt the reluctor wheel differences. As for the intake, they have drive by wire conversion throttle bodies. Oh and I am using the T56 trans. There's a guy with stage 3 5.3 heads putting down 458whp in a WS6. How much harder do you think it would be to figure out gen iv electronics (isn't it drive by wire)? And would you be running the t56 or tr6060? With 475whp you should easily be able to run 10s :-).
Edit: I'm sure you've seen this: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=951437. Why someone would pay that much pay that much when you could buy an ls3 c6 is beyond me.
For me, I think that starting with a larger displacement will be more responsive to future mods if any are needed.Leave a comment:

I am aiming for 450-475whp. I don't want to have too much power that it will be a PITA to drive on track and Its not like I plan to run 315s front and rear lolLeave a comment:

What are your goals with your ls3? Everyone with ls1's with ported 5.3 heads, cam, exhaust and intake are making 500 crank. More than that might be too much for an e36.Leave a comment:

There is a feature on my M3 with a beautiful FD RX-7 with an LS2 on Dayuum.com.
Here is the link:http://dayuum.com/2013/01/m3-rx7-a-purists-nightmare/

They are probably meaning flywheel. My motor is mostly stock till the ls3 is built but with intake, tune, exhaust, and headers I'm putting only 325whp/380fly last time I dynoed it. 400whp is very easy to do with a ls1 but you need heads with the cams. Unless thy are using a very aggressive cam that is non streetable.Leave a comment:

Have you dyno'ed with the new gearing? Most of the guys on ls1 tech are claiming 400 whp with just complete intake, exhaust and cam.Leave a comment:
