plugged in the coils, primed the turbo and made sure everything was getting fuel and oil before i fired it up. I do not have my o2 sensor hooked up or final charge pipe yet but the car started with some gas, but it will not idle. Sounded ok for what it is currently, I'm super busy for the next 2 days so not sure if I'll get the car 100% for a day or 2 but it did start so I'm happy.
guessing I need to tune for the cam or something seeing as it would not idle at all.
I threw half a downpipe on so my O2 sensor gets a good reading and finally got it to idle but it wont idle at anything below 1300rpms, and I'm also having some trouble bleeding it with the idle so high.
coolant flows out of the bleeder screw but lower hose is staying cool, gauge is showing the temp as cold but MS is reading the temp as 170*.
idle AFR was right around 11 and timing is around 24degrees where the car idles(1300rpms)
leaning it out helped a little but if I even drop down the idle duty table a little it will stall out( occasionally catch around 200rpms and then slowly die)
Have you had any problems with your engine bay getting too hot without a turbo blanket or wrapped down pipe? I'm debating whether I should do that or not.
