My new 4dr 91 318i project

So I painted the trim but the clear coat sucks and is too shiny so I'm gonna redo it eventually.

For now I'm trying to figure out whether I like the Euroweaves or Borbets more. I just held the borbet up to the car yesterday to see how it would look.

I think the borbets would be sick if finished up right.. Are they 9s all around?

Yeah, I vote another color though. Silver on silver does not look good. Paint looks nice though1

I could not paint the borbets no way! I was thinking of getting the euroweaves powdercoated when or if I sell the borbets. The borbet's are 16x9 et 15 all around. I wish I could fit a bigger tire on them. That is why I thought about selling them and then getting nice tires and powdercoating the euroweaves. But Euroweaves are a pain in the ass to clean so IDK...

IMO the euro weaves look better, but that's just me. On the other hand tho 16's fill in the e30's arches better, so idk.

I used spray cans the actual trim paint went on great but the clear coat was like liquid just shitty coating. The guy who painted my car said he would do all the trim pieces and once I have the extra money I'm gonna have him do it but for now it will have to do...

Yea I wanted it to be like a satin finish. But now its like glossy. I've used all kinds of trim paint before but am never happy. I wish the SEM was a little more glossy. But I've got other more important jobs to do... Brakes and Coilovers definitely. I drove the car about 200 miles in the past two days and it bottoms out on hard bumps and is way too bouncy in the front with the H&R sports. I'm gonna cut and weld that way I can adjust them easier plus go lower.

I still need to do the window and door trim. Also need to install fogs, smileys, IS Lip, and Brake duct. Pics I took today...
