It's medical tubing :)
What ends up being used by a lot of people.
We can working on a plan to fix it. Not in the budget really... as one would expect. We are just 5 dudes working on a car in a basement most of the time. With some shop help from time to time.

So we arrived at Atlanta Motorsports park with 8 drivers. One from BimmerWorld, One from Roush and one with zero experience... plus our 5 drivers. Split race weekend into a Saturday 7Hour and a Sunday 7Hour.
Saturday we raced and finsihed 7th. Was great day. Blake broke a rocker arm again and we finished last 2 hours on 5 cylinders. Unfortunate as Joey Atterbury could have finished in P5 instead of P7 but without the power it sucked.
We fixed the Rocker Arm and proceeded to Day 2.

DAY TWO
Jessi would start. And unfortunately someone tapped her under power. Spun. Got clipped. Then got clobbered. First body damage on the John Allen Special:
Jessi Wreck:
We brought it in and worked on it for about an hour. Eventually got it back out and climbed back to P25 for the finish. We are not sure what we are going to do but are going to work on racing funds to get the car fixed up and back out there next year!

P7 today on the first 7-hour race! Tomorrow we run again. That is our best finish ever! And the last 3 hours was done on 5 cylinders as we lost a rocker and decided to just run. Worked out well. With full power we would have easily made P5. Maybe even 4th.Leave a comment:

Happy to announce some big happenings! For Atlanta Motorsports Park the team will be welcoming Tyler Cooke from BimmerWorld Racing, Joey Atterbury from Roush Racing and Jassi Nace of Fast-Lane Talent.
Lots of fun times ahead! Running Saturday with two pros, myself and Blake. Sunday the other 4 drivers will tackle the track!
Final work day with some fill-ins that were mostly just supervising...

AMP has a VERY strict 92db limit. So we put in an extra muffler. Fun times as Chris has never welded. So let him weld on some of the basic items. Tacked on our extra hanger. He had too much fun.

We know. Our last motor had one and was fine for two 14hr races. In this environment we rebuild motors faster thqn we have HG issues.Leave a comment:
