I just installed the Lukebox for manual top vert and I must say...what an awesome product!! The install was very involved (much more than just the average "hey lets throw a sub and amp in the back" type of install but I was glad to find Luke's amp bypass thread and was able to map out all my stock speaker wiring from the trunk. That means, my wiring ended up all in the trunk with just running RCA/signal and power wire from front to back, and I had to reconnect my speakers with original factory wiring already there then clean up old aftermarket wiring from the headunit.

The sound is great, like everyone has said previously, no rattles, clean bass, not ghetto or overpowering and I took the time to add a 5-channel amp to all 4 speakers.

                System consists of the following:

Alpine CDE-105 w/KCE-400i Bluetooth A2DP support and Alpine iPod cable
                Alpine 5 1/4 Coaxial Speakers
                2 Kicker CompVR 8" 4ohm subwoofers
                Lukebox
                Phoenix Gold R9.0:5 amplifier

just read through your thread, great work man. idk if you recall me commenting in your fs ad for the azevs.
makes me so anxious to finish the mechanics of my vert and finally be able to start on aesthetics.
I think the ONLY thing you're missing is a wind deflector.
maaaaaaybe rear headrests, idk, that's just me.
but definitely a wind deflector, that'd be perfect.

                          Check!
I've got the rear headrest kit and hardware - same material as the rest of the interior but I need to find time to take her back to Justin to make the holes in the leather...I can't bring myself to do it myself!

What I need now is some Genuine Borbet center caps to go on my naked wheel centers.
