    Nice choice on wheels+tires!

However, you will soon discover those voglands are much too soft.

I had to roll all 4 fenders. And push in a bump on both rears that is up inside the well.

They are, I rub badly if anyone gets in the back. I have a set of brand new KYB struts just sittin in the shop right now but they won't get installed. Once I have the extra cash I'll be waiting for some IE3's and Billys to show up in the classifieds.

You won't like the KYB struts especially if you are tracking. Ask me how I know

I was originally hoping that I could get away with a thick set of swaybars and softer suspension. This car will be on the street 95% of the time. I will give it a go with Bilstein sports first and a set of adjustable sways.

I'm considering finding some H&R race for the back and keep the Vogtlands in the front. I dunno, most things going into the car are second hand so the options are endless. I made an exception on the wheels and tires though, those TRM's are too good of a deal to wait around for someone to sell theirs.

Things are soon to go nuts with this car. I am trying to sell some VW parts to fund this.

A good friend gave me a Comp-cam with the following specs.
                Serial # A 6725 Spec Card# 047220
                Part # 54-000-11 CAMSHAFT, LS1 CHEVY LS1/GEN III '97-UP
                Core C54-11H CAMSHAFT BLANK, LS1 1997 UP 5.7 CORVETTE
                Grind # LS1 3727R /3733R HR113+4
DURATION @ .050 INTAKE 234 ROCKER ARM RATIO
                VALVE ADJ INTAKE .000 DURATION @ .050 EXHAUST 246 INTAKE 1.70
VALVE ADJ EXHAUST .000 LOBE LIFT INTAKE .3520 EXHAUST 1.70
VALVE LIFT INTAKE .598 LOBE LIFT EXHAUST .3610
VALVE LIFT EXHAUST .613 LOBE SEPARATION 113.0
                DURATION .006 INTAKE C/L 109.0

After these parts sell, I'll be purchasing a 5.3 drop out, and a set of 4.00" pushrods, and supporting valve springs. Once the motor is ready to go, the same friend will be selling me his complete t56 trans for $800 in perfect working order.

Come on 400whp and 7,500rpm! Oh, and a set of ARP rod bolts.

We are hoping to complete the swap by mid summer, and open the door to offering motor swaps as a regular thing at the shop.

Oh, and here's some eye candy.

Check back tomorrow, I got a sweet deal on a low mileage 5.3 that I just couldn't pass up.

Hopefully all goes well. Now all I need is a clutch, t56, and GTO oilpan. I will be fabricating everything else that is needed.

After the swap is done, I'll be throwing in some dual springs and ARP rod bolts so I can spin it to 7.5k with this monster:

                        Spec Card# 047220
                        Part # 54-000-11 CAMSHAFT, LS1 CHEVY LS1/GEN III '97-UP

Picked up the motor today. I'll take some pictures tomorrow, have to finish a engine replacement job on a customers 330 ci first. Damn those aluminum blocks don't like heat.
