Sorry if I missed it, but what are you doing for the booster? Manual brakes, remote setup?

Believe I said it before but no worries. I'm doing a remote set-up. I'm using an e34 booster/ ms/ linkage. It will be like that which people do for m60/s60 swaps except the 5.0 is thinner, so it doesn't look like the linkage needs to be modified much, if any at all. I'm also running an abs delete, so I'm going to split one of the outputs on the master cylinder, and keep the old hard lines for the brakes.

Once I get the engine in correctly I can start actually hard mounting the set-up, I'll be sure to post lots of pics!

So did you get the CD of the whole swap process from e30v8?

Did the motor mounts end up needing modification?

I did, the cd is insanely helpful. And yes, mounted needed modification, unless theres something I'm not seeing. If you saw the pics a few pages back, thats in the only holes on the mounts that the engine even goes in.

Are you going to be making new motor mounts? Or maybe slotting the holes if that's possible??

What are you doing for the tranny? Did you get the mount from e30v8?

Going to do some measurements and drill a new hole, and maybe reweld the old hole. May also need to chop off part of the end to clear the steering column. Its annoying, but they were cheap so i'm not that upset. Still much better than building my own mounts.

And no, I just ordered a replacement mount for the trans and am currently modifying the old transmission mount to work with it. Wont take long, just need the rest of the drivetrain mounted to really do measurements.

Definitely take lots of pictures! I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see this get done ;)

There is a way. Am I going to take my time to do that? No.

I only bump when I have progress, its only ever bumped if somebody has questions. I'm terribly sorry that I'm taking my time to help other considering the swap.
