So the car is down for a bit... Found a hairline crack on the line-to-gauge fitting on the oil line. I have a spare, just need to find the time and my flare tool. As well as that, my clutch line is getting really hot, so after about half an hour of driving, my clutch stops working very well. So I plan to heat wrap that and move it as far from the headers/ engine as I can.
In the mean time I started on the dash. I'm going to be flocking it, so I just it to look relatively decent as most of it will not be visible once flocked.
Dash
Stuff I used to lay down the rough filler, and the dash afterwords.
Not much of an update, but whatever. I think I need to find someplace for all my car parts... My tiny room is getting crowded.

To each his own, and I really love it when people are passionate about their cars and build their perfect car, but I am going to say this. This e30 has everything I would never do to an e30. Besides the v8 that is. I am just more into a spartan look, but thats why its your car.sigpic

I've been building this car for the last 3 years or so, and I've done many silly things that I regret. Not big mistakes, just things I look back and shake my head at. I'm sure I'm bound to do the same with things I'm doing now. However- that's sort of the nature of what I'm doing with this car, to have fun and keep things changing.
There is literally no other car I've driven that will quite literally, make me crack up while driving it. It's a stupid, stupid car and that's the point. The v8, combined with the seats, and wheel, and entirely aftermarket suspension just makes the car an absolute blast to drive.
I'm in the process of cleaning it all up now; repainting the bay, redoing/ cleaning up the interior, having a cage built, repairing and repainting the exterior... Still keeping it stupid, but the disorganized unruliness is finally getting to me.Comment

So I have a ton of stuff for the engine which should be in tomorrow. The rebuild is waiting until after h20, but figure I'll post the parts up anyway :)
Basically the plan for the next ~6 months is this:
- Complete engine rebuild
- New seats
- Complete Wilwood pedal box + goodies
- Frame notch in the front to fit a Mustang rad + fans
- Repainted engine bay + powdercoated headers
- New headers(have them)
- Turbo
Anyway, got my mudflaps mounted after I refinished all the mounting stuff, and got new hardware. This is before I mounted the tops to the inner fender lip. Also seems to be on uneven ground, as they now simply sit on the ground. I'm on the lookout for rears.
Until next time, internet- Stay planet.
