This car is hilarious to me. I wish you were local so we could go do hooligan shit in our obnoxiously loud turds.

Then that is what ill do. makes way more sense that way. I'm getting ready to rebuild my engine now, waiting to take it to the machine shop, the further I pulled it apart the more I wanted to just do a full rebuild. Big delay in progress but will hopefully be worth it at the end. Just getting rather expensive really quick lol
I keep going back through your thread for more inspiration. Your car sounds amazing, can't wait to see more1985 325e......v8?

And thank you, means a lot coming from you.
I've honestly had zero motivation to do anything to this car the past month or so... All it needs to be driving around is an oil change. But somehow all I've managed to do in the past month is work on the dash/ interior, pull out a seat and paint the passenger floor. However, I'm currently working on getting some small sponsorships and I've just ordered a roll bar and new harnesses.Comment

Just ordered an autopower, which will be lifted up about 2" to fit snugly with feet, as well as having full door bars welded in. The idea is to end up with a full cage minus the a-piller and upper windshield bar so the car is daily/ streetable.
Got a new dash and started making my interior look half decent(this is about a month or so old, never updated. I lost two of the trim pieces by the cluster somehow, so I need to find those...

Gather around my children! It's time for a Celli update:
Ordered:
- Roll bar
- Harness's
As it stands the roll bar doesn't seem like it will arrive in time for h2o, but the new purple-metallic RJS harnesses will.
I'm finishing up painting the floor, tying random things up.
H2oi prep checklist:
- Bleed brakes(they don't really, like, work)
- Oil change
- CB radio install
- Put new harnesses/ seats back in
- Do a burnout
- Redo hood pins
- Clean the headers/ random parts out of the car
- Drift
- Redo cooling system/ add Water Wetter(car is running a little hot)
- Install oil cooler( not necessary, but would help temps)
- Grow a Mullet
- Buy many 6' x 9' American flags from HF
- Listen to French Pop
- Work way too many hours
- Paint passenger side exhaust to match drivers
- Install stud conversion for valve coversComment

I might be coming down as well - all depends on if I can get my car running right or not in the next two weeks. Runs HOT HOT if you're sitting still for too long and the transition from the idle jets to the mains is terribad right now.Last edited by jalopi; 09-13-2013, 08:44 AM.Comment

So now for the hell that has been my last 2 weeks or so, with some seriously awesome times with some great friends thrown in.
So on the Sunday before H2o(planned to leave on thursday night, had work everyday except for thursday itself) I was doing a look over of the car as I do before long trips and joy of all joys, my clutch pedal snapped off the firewall. This was due to the stupid way I had mounted it when I was 17. Do it right, do it once.
So I got some materials and got a basic patch down to at least get my to H2oi, and I'd be ordering a pedal box when I got back.
I got some new hardware, bolted it up, and everything was fine and dandy on Tuesday. Later that day, my rollbar came in. So I threw it in the back of the car, and headed over my friends house!(don't try this at home, professional redneck here). Got it in within an hour, all bolted up. Albeit it was dark, so these pics are from Thursday. Not that it matters. Just being honest.
So the car was a filthy mess, looking like this
So I cleaned it out, and was met with this(after I repainted all the chrome sound deadening)
So I got packed up, and packed the car up.
Then headed to my good friend Andrews house to meet up with a few other friends to head out to H2oi!
