I don't know the size. I don't even know if itll fit. It came with the engine I bought.

Its one of the low mount fat long and skinny ones

Cleaned up the engine bay the best I could today. looks cleaner in the pic than it does in person. It's most likely getting painted.

Also got a getrag 260, 325 driveline, some other little bits.
here is the getrag getting ready to be cleaned

and cleaned a little, might paint it I don't know yet

I got a new larger air compressor so I am able to use air tools and other things more effectivly.

                            Sanders, grinders, spray guns, etc.
Gonna get my dad to wire the garage for it. Thats what I'm dealing with right now.
Once that is up and running im going to grind the brackets off the engine bay and start prepping it for paint.

Any advice for painting the engine bay? Can I move the fusebox out of the way ? enough to spray under it?

I'm also looking at doing the Z3 1.9 steering rack swap. If you have one of these you are looking to get rid of shoot me a PM!

You can check out my build thread for some pretty decent engine bay cleaning and painting. The link is in my sig. I just used a large garbage bag to wrap around all the wires and the fuse box and moved it around while I painted. If you could suspend the fuse box from above the car while you painted the bay, it would be much easier though.
