That is a great price for such a clean car. Engine swaps are a weekend deal if you have everything.

I LOVE the color, great looking interior combo.

You mofo. You swapped and didn't tell me. In the mean time I'll enjoy my M42 with AC!

lol, you'll learn to keep throwing that A/C in everyones face. I hope a rock jumps up and smashes your compressor!

but yea I just threw it in there and took off.

as far as the salads, I havent gotten them on there yet. I found some local 16" ACS wheel that I really want and they're 5lug as well so I might go e36M front 5lug for the brakes and upgrade from there.

Massive kits are pretty pricey but I guess I gotta pay to play.

            Thanks for all the compliments.

There's a forum sponsor that makes them. There's also a local driveshaft shop that builds them for $150 if I bring in both ends. Which I have.

Makes my posts funny and useless!

1,500 shipped for a running complete 540...now I have seen it all. Awesome deal man, congrats on the swap plans in motion!

                        Thanks F34R

So far I got it in the garage ready for tear down and refresh and then trouble shooting and reliability testing.
Best part about havin gthe complete car is I get to drive it and make sure all the bugs are worked out before swapping it over.

I'm going to label everything and start disconnecting EWS-II shit to transfer over.
                        I love factory tools

Also I keep getting a 1222 code. I'm assuming it's the huge intake leak and the oil eevap purge thing at the back of the intake. The intake is too damn greasy.

Also, these knock sensors are cracked. I didn't get any faults for them but does the 484 motronic even have a code for these or will it be with the 1222 code? @$80x4 I'm not looking forward to swapping em.

So after driving it for a few weeks I'll take that time to order parts and have everything on a layout and ready for the swap.

looks like a oil separator failure, might as well replace that since the engine is out, (the one under the driver side chain cover), i didn't change mine and it sucked a lot of oil through and made a mess of my intake and exhaust system... lesson learned

I just read that the part behind the intake was to Blame and that the oil seperator never fails.

Did you replace that as well?

hmm i kept the 94 internal oil separator and tried swapping out the rear cover (i had 2 of them) and still have horrible oil in intake manifold issues, then i even tried to put a oil catch can but still had the same problem, now i figured #&($ it im just gonna replace the internal and back cover with new ones along with new valve stems because im sure i've blown them with how much oil is bought into the intake manifold snd my whole exhaust system, i figured might as well do it all now since it will be all out, they weren't as expensive as i thought it was

                                All clean kinda.

Still have some residual oil left to burn out the exhaust and such but it now runs like a top.
                                Can't wait.
