So I took my car over to my friends garage behind his house. Awesome guy with awesome tools!!!!
Anyway. Put it on the lift to try and get an idea of what I want to do with the exhaust. It's more complicated than id thought. Oh well. Worked on it all day and now my shoulders and back hurt. I'll just let the photos show how much work I didn't do.

Home made tow bar ftw!!!

Another shot of the 2002.

And all I managed to get done

Oh you see that make shift steering shaft????
Yeah let's fix that.
Went ahead and grabbed two e46 columns and put em together. Easiest shit ever.
Measured the columns

Torched the hell out of them to melt the plastic that's injected to hold them together.

Then slide it all together

Viola!!!! Magic!

And that's all you need to do to make a on price shaft. Yay!

Here is how I routed mine, dual 2.25 to an X-pipe, Jones 2.25 glasspack's and finishes through a Magnaflow dual in/ out muffler. Quiet enough to daily drive but there's no mistaking it for anything but a V8 when you crack into it!

We notched the trans mount on the drivers side and added a gusset to clear the downpipe, not totally necessary but I wanted as much clearance underneath as possible and the e30 body isn't very accommodating for an exhaust pipe on that side. The exhaust was made so its two removable sections. If you ever have to remove it (I've had to twice) you'll thank yourself for paying the extra $100 in V-bands or $20ish for flanges/ gaskets. The chassis brace in the middle that crosses the tunnel now doubles as an exhaust hanger/ brace. This makes it so you can detach the v-bands and let center section hang then simply unbolt it from the body. No rubber donuts to wrestle with, unfortunately I do not have pictures of that.Comment

That looks great Dirty! Thank you. So I'll grab two of those flexipipe things and make use of them. Instead of v-bands I was going to expand one end of pipe to slide over the other where they meet and use a strap-bolt to tighten.
No cats? Do you get tired of the smell?

Honestly its not all that smelly for some reason... hasn't bothered me enough to put cats on it!
I haven't driven it since the Vintage though so there hasn't been a whole lot of windows- down driving.Comment

Looks good man! Feel free to come by and put mine together.
I've been waiting on free parts for a while now, but free is free. ^_^
Also got deep into Land Rover world.....but the poor e30 looks at me every time I go to dad's to work on something.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5Comment

Ok, on the hunt for a RRC. Everything down here is LWB and expensive.
Man, thank you! That means a lot coming from you lol. I'm trying to find an easier clean up method. I'll probably get to using anti-spatter as well.
You don't want to see the stainless lol. I kept getting termite mounds/air escapes so I grinded it down and re-welded a few times. Looks terrible but sealed and sound.

Man, LWB is the way to go, lol. Can fit a full cooler in the floor between the back of the front seats and bottom of rear seats.
1995 is the best, but more sought after year.
I could go on, lol. I get way more into my cars than is healthy.
