    thanks man!

on a mental note: I really need to get my electric fan in, this car HATES idling. Took the clutch fan out so i could throw a dual electric fan setup on, have the fans, but have been lazy on the install part. I need to get on that.

I love what you've done to the car, all of it but i have one question....where do you find the time to do all this when you have a toddler running around?? Impressive!

Well, this is something i've been working on for the last 7-8 months now. Most of my time is spent after the kid is asleep lol.

        Which sucks.

Some other things that have happened over the last several months, back in July the car got wrecked. Body wise its mostly repaired, rear subframe got bent, and rims got destroyed. However, a Marshall adjustable subframe was ordered, some revshift bushings also. Now the rims to finish up the repairs. Will be fully repaired by spring, with so other possible goodies.

Pictures of the events of this summer...what happens when you play in the corners when its wet...

Then (5 months later) i got around to purchasing parts to put her back together.

Same rims, however these are the 17x9.75 sizing, will be running a 245 tire out back. For now i'll run the good 16" rims in front until i can pick up some spacers (10mm to clear front strut tube) and some tire tires to make the fronts fit. (or i might pick up 2 17x8.25's for the front...)

Also picked up a Marshall rear subframe, as well as some revshift race bushings

and here i am tonight, getting ready to drop everything and throw it all back together. Will still sit in the garage for the remainder of the winter. (only leaving periodically to get some other things done ;) )

in the meantime i'll just drive my other toys :D

Hope you're alright. Glad to see you're puttin the the green machine back on the road. Definitely one of the more tastefully modded 4-doors on this site. Even inspired me to pick one up...

Yea I was fine, was doing only about 40 mph. Only hurt my pride and the car. Atleast the car is fixable. Lol.

And thanks for the compliment. I try to keep it simple and clean.

The car looks great! It will be fun to see what happens with the 2002.
Why'd you go with a 3" exhaust? I thought that was WAY to big for a NA m20 engine?

2002 is gone. Wish i didnt, but it is what it is, i had nowhere to store it, and frankly i cant stand having nice car sit outside.

As far as the 3" exhaust goes...if this thing stays in my stable for a while it will be seeing a snail. However everything is for sale for the right price lol

Would like to thank bryce for the help today, subframe was STTTTUUUUCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!

                              the bent subframe

                              helllooo...loooo..looo..lo

pressed the subframe bushings in (other ones to come later, have some other stuff planned before the LCA bushings and such get done.

ready to go back in now.

The subframe bushings from the old subframe were so stuck that once they finally broke loose we realized they litterally broke (not the rubber bushing, but the steel insert) so it will have to be grinded down a little to make the new subframe fit right...great...

none the less, maybe tomorrow it'll be back together.

Well, today has officially been a pain in my ass...

For starters, as i finished off with yesterday, broken guide sleeves for the bushings (seized in)

                                driver side..

passenger side...(this was after i decided my only method of removing these would be a drill, chisel and a punch, so there is some starting work already done...)

after about 30 min worth of: drill...bang....drill....pry...drill....bang...pry ...ect

this is how the driver side finally came out (also after about 30 mins)

after all that rigamarole i did get the subframe started and in place (not tightened as i had to leave for the inlaws)

fast forward a few hours and i went back to work (which was in vain) And its back on the ground

                                however the good and bad.

The Good: The "Marshall" adjustable subframe works great and allows me to adjust things and everything is pretty much buttoned up and drivable

The Bad: Even after all this work (yes the subframe was in fact tweaked) It was only tweaked enough apparently to cause only some of the issues. Go to find out the driver side LCA must also be tweaked (nowhere that i can visibly see though)

So even though i went through all this work, its still not really driveable, and i'll be getting a new driver side LCA coming in the main in the next week or two. This was sort of to be expected, hence why i never installed my poly bushings for the LCA's or diff (just in case this was in fact an issue)

P.S. Also realized my passenger side cv axle needs replaced (torn boot) so i might as well do that at the same time.

P.S.S. Was sorta in a hurry to get this back on the ground and didnt clean anything (which i hate) so at least tearing it all apart again i can do that.
