    Four door S50 swap

We are Bavarian Legend Motorwerks. We car currently building a S50 four door swap. Most of you will say why do a four door. My customer said he wanted a car that he could track and take his son to La cosse practice. So we came up with this.
This is a ground up build, suspension, wheels, interior and of course the motor. It truly is a runner.
Store your photos and videos online with secure storage from Photobucket. Available on iOS, Android and desktop. Securely backup your memories and sign up today!

The car will be outfitted in black paint and blacking out the chrome. The interior will be matched to front seats with the same trim and sticthing. then the headliner will be accected in alcantra suede.
The cutomer wanted a coilover suspension. It is a little harsh for everyday driving but we will find a happy medium in the set up stage.
The exhaust system will be smog legal for Cailfornia even though the car is going to Phoenix and won't have to be smogged. We used a Remus muffler for an E46 coupe. We had to make some mods to make it fit. But that was really simple in the scheme of things.
Being that this car is a 1987 we are going to take out the ABS because the car had a brake balancing is built into the master cyclinder, rather than the body. We are going to a brake bais balancer internal it will make it stop quicker.
There will be more photos to follow once we get painting and custom make hoses for the A/C system.

Interior is being done. Installed ultra suede headliner, matched rear seats, carbon fiber roof-cap, having momo shift knob and ultra suede shift knob and brake boot. Next is to have the body kit fitted.

I don't think this has ever been done before. Wasting that glamorous engine on such a turd mobile is a horrible idea.

Actually thee body kit is DTM Alpina look frontand the sides are Alpina skirts, with rear BAV. Now I am making this for the customer. The "ricey" I don't see it's not like we put fender flares or or some trashy wing on. Also mind you that the kit is just "fitted" on and fully fininhed on then once the car is painted you will see a more harmonus fit and finish. At that point lines will flow a bit smoother. Remember this is a work in progress it's almost like looking inside a a whopper...ugly but taste good.

What is going on with that HORRIBLE rear bumper fitment? WTF is that trim thing between the body and top of the bumper?

4 doors are gay. White faced gauges are cool.

If cutting down the strut housing for coilovers, why keep the stock bottom spring cup?
Not feeling the wheels so far...
Where did the sport seats go/where did the comfort seat come from/what seats are those now? And why 4 point harness/racing seat, but no cage?
I like the look of the pedals, but I've heard they're more form than function.
Are they fully blacked out tails staying once the car is all black?
                          aaand whatafuck rear bumper fitment.

Want to see how this all pulls together

The car had diving boards at on time and the retro to plastic. When we cut it down we were thinking about how to handle the cup so we decided to keep. The four point harness came with the seat set up and no roll cage because the car is still a "family" daily driver. Yes the blacked out lights stays when the car is all black. Like I said before the kit is just fitted and not finished. It will all come together. The pedals are form they have some tackiness to them but once again daily driver not full track car weekend warrior kinda thing. If it were a full race car it would not have been a 4 door.

Oh the sports seats are going into a 325ia/2 coupe and the comfort seats are sitting in the shop waiting to transfer to another car.
