Okay, so I don't know if this really even qualifies as an update more of a photo dump. I got the car running on the 17th and basically have just been driving it since. I still have a fair bit of work to do on the car especially on the interior and have to finish up putting on the wiring covers and tidying up the engine bay. So I decided to take some crappy pictures tonight and here they are.

          Well fuck me...

So HOT... However, I think it needs bigger wheels imo.

I still have the Schmidt TH Lines seen in the original post. Just not using them right now as I know traction will be an issue with 215 wide tires on a 9" rim. The plan is to. Narrow the rears to 8.5" which should allow me to clear a 225 no problem.

Not much of an update, just some phone pictures since I put the schmidts back on.

You might have noticed my latest "mod" not much or one really. This one is all function, opened up a path to get some more air to the intercooler.

Also I am leaving tomorrow night to drive the car to Miller Performance in Abbotsford BC to have the car dyno tuned on Friday. I am also planning on going to check out the Great Canadian VW show while I am there. I might make a new thread for that road trip.

Such a pretty engine bay. Fit and finish is spectacular. What did it put down?

Ya I thought about mentioning when I would be there if people wanted to check the car out, but I wasn't sure how the guys at miller would feel about it. More people around just might make their job more difficult.

Speaking of the guys at miller I have to mention how very happy I was with my experience dealing with them. They seem like a great group of guys and their products work. It's obvious they invested a lot of time in that turbo base tune. I drove the car around town for just over a month on the base tune and then made the 1100km (~700 miles) trip out here without any issues. I even got 23 mpg on the highway!
