    Bringing back to life(M50 Power)

Found this Schwarz 87' iS in front of a barn that had been sitting since October. Left my number and a few days later got a call from the guy. Had a snapped crank and we agreed on $350. Originally thought I would take parts off it for my 89 coupe but the body and paint were just to nice to ruin so I decided to do a auto to manual/engine swap.
Ofcourse when your young like me you think you can do a project like this all in the weekend. Turns out not so easy haha. Also complicates things when you dont have all the right tools. But I'm determined with the help of friends I can get this puppy moving again.
    What do you guys think?

(Proper wash and pics to come once finished.)

          M50 power coming soon!
Plan on using mostly stock parts, brake booster, tranny back to diff.
Just need to pick up E36 engine mount arms and E28 motor mounts. The engine is coming from a e34 so throttle cable and oil pan are already there.
I am hoping other than a few mods I have to do with the getrag 260 linkage and mounts this should be a fairly simple swap? :) I will also be putting a full lift to use also.
          Thanks guys

You will need a late model e30 rad and expansion tank, or an e36 rad and expansion tank. The early model rads have the hoses on opposite sides and will not work with the m50.

This was my first question. I vote you pull the oil pan and go digging around. I'd be surprised if the girdles could even hold the crank in halfway-ish if it had snapped. I'm confused.....

Thanks, iv'e already got the late model radiator and expansion tank. Hadn't thought about that though.
As far as the crank goes i'm not sure. PO said engine seized up one day and found that something to be snapped. When I had the engine in I tried starting it and there was this horrible clank sound as it tried to turn over.
Picking up M50 tomorrow anyways. Don't suppose I could get the e34 motor mounts to work?

Sorry for hijacking your thread. Please keep us updated with your swap. Might be thinking of doing this if I do not fix the m20.
