Whatever - a clean body e30 is still hard to get. Still a good deal I say.

Kinda, but I'm not getting a new motor. Im just replacing a head gasket ^

        Heres the plan -

        Operation replace and repair M20

        Head gasket
        Head Bolts
        Water pump (metal)
        Thermostat
        Timing belt

and a bunch of supporting gaskets and O-rings

        All courtesy of Blunt

I'll probably paint the valve cover and manifold. What color do you guys think? Something clean and simple. Wrinkle black? Silver? White?

I have no bad feelings about this build. It wasn't a do or die situation but a big chunk of preventative maintenance. This car is clean as heck. I imagine that I'll take it on as a turbo or swap car in the next year or two. I daily drive an eta that is starting to show its age, unlike this car.

The lady wants something newer... :dot: go figure. Maybe an E46 wagon? Not to get off topic. We'll see.

isn't the color code in the motor room? or on the door?

I like everything about this thread. A good looking woman that likes to drives a super clean and manual e30? You're a very lucky guy haha

Car looks great so far man, it was a real catch. From a fellow sedan owner, I appreciate a good looking sedan. Keep up the good work!

Gorgeous car! Good luck with the rebuild. It seems you take your time and do things right so this shouldn't be too bad for you.

I would KILL for a four door. Especially one that clean. Love it.

                              Congrats on the pickup!
