Dude if I ever am near where you live I have to meet you and that car and shop. SO FREAKING COOL!!!!!! -
Thanks guys! Glad you like it, it was time for something a little more up to date.
Nothing wrong with the M10, I'm going to sell it. Just wanted more power, fuel injection, and the experience of an engine swap under my belt.Leave a comment:

yes sir, currently trying to find a G260 and driveshaft. M10 will be for sale shortly.
I'll keep that in mind!
Update:
I somehow scored 4 days off in a row from work, so I've been cherishing them and spending as much time at the shop as I can, wishing that it would never end haha.
I've been making progress on the M20. Taking my time and making sure I'm labeling everything correctly and taking lots of pictures for reference. Here are a few from the motor untouched, sorry for the point-and-shoot quality, wasn't exactly planning on posting these, but they show how it looked when I started:

Labeled everything thoroughly and pulled the engine harness off:

I partially stripped it down and brought it up to my dad's house for a pressure wash. It was nice to work on something up there again, I miss that place:

Post pressure wash. I ran out of degreaser pretty quickly so I couldn't get it spotless, but that's ok. I just wanted to get it clean enough to where I didn't come home to my lady looking like a coal miner every night:

(^^Yes I plugged the intake ports while washing). I brought it back down to my shop and put it back on my makeshift engine hoist, my M10 is still hogging that:

I then proceeded to strip it down even more, and this is where I left off tonight. I didn't have a wrench big enough to get the fan clutch off, so I'll have to get one tomorrow:

Good to see you decided to go M20, they're a ton of fun. You won't regret it. I'm not sure how much you plan on modifying the M20 prior to going in, but a lightened flywheel goes a LONG way to retain the easy-to-rev nature the 2002 yearns for.Leave a comment:
