I got the block painted today. It was certainly not the best job, and I feel like I could have spent a little more time on it, but it looks better than before.

I also painted a few brackets and the oil pan a silver color. I was going to use this color on my intake and valve color, but it looks too fake.

My intake and valve cover have some discoloring as well as some cosmoline. What does everyone do to get their stuff back to look like factory??

I should do something like this to my ZHP knob.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I did not replace the rod bearings. Motor only had 150k on it. I read they can go for a lot longer. I am sure that it will be fine anyways.

                I am DD it.

Just ordered more parts for this.

I just bolted up the clutch a few days ago. Going to mate the tranny and engine tomorrow or later this week, then hopefully drop it in.

I put the harness on the car over the weekend. I didn't label anyhting, so I hope I do not have too much touble going in.

                        This has been in awhile

Still a few things here and there I need to figure out. I have one extra 2 prong plug from the wiring harness. It is located under the airbox, but I just do not know where they hell it goes.

                        Brakes will be here tomorrow.

Brakes were in the day I posted the engine bay shots, but I was too lazy to post pics. I will be removing my calipers, bead blasting them, then painting them. What color should I paint them?

                              really like this car!!!

Great build, might want to check the wire to the afm. Sometimes it can look like its all the way in and it isn't, don't think the car will ever start without that wire connected:)
                              gl, again nice build!!

I will double check it when I try again this weekend.

                                Thanks for the compliment.
