That is a possibility for the rear. I have plenty of ground clearence, but im already running no pads or adjusters in the rear. thats bottemed out. and even if i wanted to go lower, the setup isnt stiff enough to handle it.
Im still planning on lowering the front some more. Ive still got about 6 or 7 threads left, so ill probably come down about 3 or 4 depending on how adventurous i feel when i get around to doing it. plus i dont have a late model lip like everyone else, no worrying about ripping one off!

how have you liked the megan springs? i might just do the same since the rear is currently a bit bouncy for me.

also, we could always discuss a wheel trade later on down the line :D

Im also jelly of your hard top piece. I used to have one, but it bokedid :(
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

I'm not sure how to define 'bouncy'. If it's 'soft', then no the megans aren't really bouncy. If its 'stiff enough to bounce your ass off the seat' then yes, they're kinda bouncy at times ;). I like it though, i think it feels pretty sporty. How's your oil pan clearance right now?

well then i will probably look into them soon!

as for my oil pan clearence, its surprisingly good. I have an m20 so the oil pan dosent sit low like the other engines do. I feel there are other parts that will scrub before i hit the oil pan. But that dosent mean i wont buy an extra pan just in case ;)
        what about yours?

My pan is 2" off the ground haha. The m42 pan hangs lower than an m20, but it has a two piece pan so it's like a 10 min job to replace (so long as the upper pan doesn't get messed up). I haven't gone over any speed bumps, but my ground clearance is great for everything else. I don't scrape (often) on my driveway, and I can get into many other parking lots without too much off an issue, other than people wondering wtf I'm doing. I think my rear settled a little bit now though, because I scrape those exhaust clamps if I turn too hard to the right.
This is my pan clearance on my driveway:
I would have stuck my finger under there to get a scale, but I couldn't fit my hand under the lip.

Honestly I'd say that even at this height I haven't even come close to cracking it.

I will ;). I do have a sort of skid plate in the works that should save me from most things anyways, and if I break a pan or two through that I'll get a real plate.

Lucky! I wish i had a two piece pan. Maybe that explains why bmw decided to raise the pan on the m20s. Theyre a bitch to replace.

Well your pan clearence is definitely way lower than mine. Ill have to take one of mine and show you the difference.
As for height, im beginning to think you and I are almost the same. I know you rear is lower, but we might be the same on the fronts. Mine looks taller, but i cant even park near the curb in front of my work without scraping something.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

My front fender to the center(ish) of my wheel is about 11.5". The IS lip is reasonably high at 3" from the ground.

I couldnt find a tape measure so i have no clue what mine is at, but i got some motivation to adjust my coils! remember i said the height would depend on your adventurous i feel? about that.......I put them all the way down ;)
there is definitely some noticeable rake now.
Here is my pan clearance after the adjustment:

Yep, I'd say your pan's about as low or ever so slightly higher than mine right now...I wouldn't risk that on an m20 ;)
