You got a fake radio on the dash, and a ghetto radio in the glovebox.

Normally (not that I've used it more than twice) I just plug my iPhone in and go. It'll shuffle through everything and I just don't touch it. The remote is infrared so you'll have to have the glovebox open to use it, but it's much better than feeling for those buttons while driving.

I just wish it didn't just say "Accessory Connected" on the iPhone and not let me control it on there. It'd be much better if I could skip songs and change the volume right from my iPhone that's right there, and i'd almost never have to open the glovebox. I hope there's a way around that...(using an aux connection would probably work, which I may just do).

I've always found the stock one hideous, but to each their own. So do keep your glovebox open 24/7 or just use the remote?

I wouldn't be able to stand it even if it matched well. It just never looks right to me, and I feel like it drastically devalues the car and just makes it look like shit. I don't believe i've ever really seen an aftermarket head unit that looked better in an e30 dash than a stock HU.

Obviously that's just me and everyone else has their own opinions and desires though. It's definitely less convenient my way haha.

    Nice move with the HU!

Im getting a new one soon too. I found one that actually matches with the interior lights this time lol.

I have MUSICCCC!! Install looks pretty nice, done by custom car audio in San Jose. I absolutely detest the look of almost every single after market headunit, so I shoved the stock one in the dash and had the pioneer with an iPod/usb/aux hookup and cd/mp3 put into the glove box. I also have a remote for it.

It looked terrible in person. The stance was like a muscle car. The lip was <2" off the ground and the back wasn't even low. I plan to drop the front about 15mm, at which point a plate is sorta out of the question because it'll be too close to the ground (less than half an inch). But to do all this i'll have to modify the adjusters so that'll be in a little bit.

    Looks ok to me...

Just buy a skid plate, lower the front and profit.

Edit: Maybe with a little ????? thrown in there somewhere.

It's only on the driver's side. I haven't felt it much, but it feels like theres a very dense rubber block or some shit in there, and then like a bunch of other crap that's stuck inside. The other side just had a ton of soft dirt that came right out.

The guy who rolled my fenders said he thinks it's been replaced, but there's nothing on the car fax or anything else to suggest that. The passenger side fender looks good, but the driver's is all weird. There's like some shit that seems permanently stuck in the fender lip and it rubs slightly. I'm gonna try to pull that crap out with something and push the lip back a couple mm myself to stop the rubbing.

Wait. Do you mean there is stuff up under the lip that was rolled? cause i think i have the same thing. Ive been waiting to buy something to cut it out with so i can roll more. Its a strange rubber lining.
