Cosmosblau Metallic 325e

So I picked up a second e30 because I wanted an early model to go with the late model 318iS/s52 swap car I'm working on.

I decided to pull the VIN, and to my shock and amazement, it's production date is four years to the day from when I was born.

Anyone else have an e30 that production date is the same as their birthdate?

It's also Cosmosblau Metallic. It's also in need of a lot of love.

Plans are just to get it in good, reliable running order, then for some exterior attention, and some more rare, unique exterior components.

Looks mint, throw a junkyard M50 in it with some RS reps and list on R3V for 14k.

When I was replacing the driver's side b pillar trim on my car I noticed it was date stamped 18-11-88. That means I turned 28 the day it was manufactured.
