IMO, the Style 5s look better on your car than Futuras.

90% sure the Futura's won't be back on this car. I'm gonna hold on to them for another project. I wouldn't be super comfortable selling them as they are unless someone were to shoot me a really good offer.

I think I'm in the same boat as you. I'd rather just enjoy my E30 and not worry about my heart sinking into my ass before every time I hit a sudden dip in the road (how my old 318is was)...

A nice, functional wheel/tire setup can still look great on an E30. You have my vote

I have gotten a few things done over the past couple days. I raised the car about an inch-ish. I don't want to raise it any more because I still have the lame tires on so it would look funky if it's too high. I also removed all of my stickers... shocker, I know. Finally, today I decided to remove my tint. I had been wanting to do this forever I was just too lazy. I bought a $20 clothes steamer from Walmart and it worked beautifully for the side windows. The rear window was a huge pain. I still haven't fully cleaned all of the residue adhesive. It also took way longer than I anticipated.

I was disappointed to find out that the scratches that I assumed were in the tint are actually in the glass. Is there any way to polish this out?

I'll take some real pictures during my drive tomorrow.

Im sure that Citradelic made things much more enjoyable. I don't know if you get Heavy Seas in your area but they have a citrus IPA called TropiCannon that is pretty awesome too.

Great shots, your car pulls those style 5's off very well.

Saw the pictures on FB and didn't realize you raised the car up at all. IMO it looks just as good now. With some meatier tires next time around, it should look wicked. The lack of tint/stickers makes it even better.

Should be able to polish those scratches out, just don't put much heat into the glass. might be just as easy to swap the window though?

Went to the track with my buddy yesterday. I didn't drive, unfortunately. I really should have... there were only 8-ish people there so the track was super empty. Next time.

A shot of his car (I can't wait to dump money into a cool kid camera setup):

I also bought a Grip Royal and Momo hub off a r3v member. Not really a fan of the wheel color, though. I bought it in the hopes of selling the wheel in order to come away with a, basically, free Momo hub. Eventually an all black Renown one will replace it. But, it's nice for the time being. Much nicer than my shitty airbag wheel. I'm also a huge fan of the wheel size and depth, it's very comfortable for me.

Now I just need a quicker steering rack...
