Today installed my "special" bilstein sports. They are actually Racing Dynamics Bilstein Sports - thus they have different valving. Probably not much different, but I hear they are stiffer? The struts are paired with H&R sport springs.
The install went great, swapped all 4 assemblies in just under 3 hours taking our time. Torqued all the bolts to spec and did it right. Air tools helped, but werent needed.
My car is soooo clean underneath :) No rust anywhere.. every bolt threaded in and out with ease. Im so happy this car is clean like this.
The car rides much better now. It is roughly the same ride height, though. The upper strut mounts in the front were far nicer condition so my car no longer clunks. More like thuds

I am in the process of restoring my 1952 L-122, and need some ideas on adapting it so that I can drive it using hand controls. I would like to keep the manual transmission and also have it so that regular ambulatory folks can drive it as well. The picture is of the hand controls in my 2010...
