Update - got my smileys installed and learned how easy it is to take the bumper off :) even for one person it was a breeze.. I even used the OEM lugwrench tool to get the 4 nuts off ahahahahaha. Looking like a drift missle.

Pics of my new ZF320 :)

Pics of the smiley install. I used new connectors but junkyard pigtails. I saved roughly $50 this way. The pigtails can be found on every connector that uses this style, I grabbed the 90 degree ones mainly off e36 foglights and windshield washer pumps.

    The high beams:

    And the lows:

I cut the sealed beam connectors off, and then cut my pigtails to roughly the same length:

Brown is ground so just follow the colors like I did here:

I didnt get pics of the rest but basically just splice them in on car.

I wired my city lights through the sidemarker connectors and disconnected the lead for the sidemarker running lights - though now the OBC tells me the "parking lamp" failure so I need to clean it up.

    They sure are pretty though!

And a pic of my new toolbox!

So I jumped the gun on the sensor... turns out all my new injectors needed was a DME reset.

Clocked 31mpg average on the interstate over a course of 45 miles today :) Also picked up a 70,000 miles ZF320 and some new-to-me tires.

220,800 miles and running strong! I am sending out my UOA (used oil analysis) this week with my liquimoly... will post results here on the forum.

    UPDATE :(

I installed some rebuilt fuel injectors from MEPEH here on r3v (he did great work and I recommend him!)

Right after the install the car throws a CEL for the camshaft position sensor. I found the sensor on ebay for a great price (facet brand new old stock) and should be installing it when it arrives, as well as fix my oil filter housing leak.

I am undecided if I want to remove the intake manifold for these projects, but it definitely would help if I did! I think with the oil fitler housing out of the way Ill have enough room.

Got my new door plates in the mail. I have many sets for sale!

So I went ahead and made a DIY article for potential buyers using my own car (of course). The plates fit perfect and only take about 5 minutes a side to install :)

My ripped and messed up door

Pic of the plate installed (need to straighten out the door's sheet metal so it sits flush)

check out the thread! - http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=303078

Im trying to get my smileys installed soon :)
