it will be more comfy as a DD on coils than on billies and H&R.
      Been there, done that.

And OP, start saving for the inevitable 5 speed swap. Luckily it is all bolt on/plugin and only 2 wires to switch around on 92-94 m50 e34s.

isn't a zf, and doesn't have a dipstick, it's the way way way undersized 4l30e gm france. aka a4s310r.

it is a complete piece of sh!t trans.

On the oil stain, be sure it is actually the pan, far far more common for the VC to have a seep that ends up dripping off the pan.

          Or any other spring.

coil-overs do not automatically make it ride softer/harsher

Yeah, coilovers should have the spring rate matched to the damper... thus much better ride quality

Dont want to slam my car, just lower it maybe a half inch more than it already is.

            haters just hate

then don't use billies, use konis instead. billies are well known for being too stiff especially in the front on e34s.

                *No thread jacking intended*
I also have a '92 E34 525i Auto but I'm in a dilemma should I use my money on a 5-speed swap and suspension stuff, maybe later turbo OR scrap the whole idea and go with a E30?
(P.S. The E34 & E30 are tied for my favorite 2 BMW body styles)

Yeah, the ride doesn't bug me at all. The clunking gets a little old, but whatevs...it's worth it.

Well 5 speed swap may be happening soonish. Need to source parts and make sure my leg is strong enough to clutch in.

and make sure that the car's pedal assembly is able to be modded how I need it

and yeah lots of stuff, lol

^ In what ways are you modding the pedal assembly?

Well car wouldnt stay running the other day. I thought a spark problem at first, but then some reading online and I narrowed it down to ICV.

either way, today I removed the intake manifold, valve cover, ICV, etc. to do some maintenance.

car is receiving new spark plugs, VC gasket, and I am painting the VC. Found some decent oil in the intake manifold :( but my car never smoked so Im not worried

I lied in the last post, thought parts would be coming, and then I didnt get them until Monday :(

Got it all back together yesterday and still same symptoms. I have spark though so I am looking into fuel issues today.
