have fun rescuing that one, we will hold you accountable!

I would definitely pull the chrome not only because it's tacky but because they trap water and RUST.

I did a lot of reading. It seems to me that this is although difficult, it is possible :) not getting done untilled we get back from the beach, but it will be done! In the meantime, what color should the cable cover get painted?

Head doesn't need to come off...

You can r&r the rockers by pulling the radiator and pulling the rocker shafts out through the front. I don't even think the timing belt has to come off

im pretty sure you have to have the cam pulley removed to remove the rocker shafts.

Off to the beach today. A buddy of mine agreed to help with this project, so now I order parts and enjoy the beach. See you in a week.

I've decided (with design help from my new wife) to pull off what chrome I can, paint it black, seal it, and put it back on and seal it to keep water out. Also referbishingthe rims. Most likely getting a black and blue finish. Rocker arms, timing belt, and various gaskets and hoses are getting ordered as soon as I can bank some of the wedding money. Paint and clear coat will come when I can grab my air gun and compressor from my parents. Keep suggestions. Coming. Its helping a lot

Did some more thinking tonight. I'm gonna go a head and try doing the rocker arms without pulling the head. It would be nice to, but I would rather not risk it. I need to do a coolant flush anyway so pulling the radiator will be a good chance to do that. Also sounds like it gonna be easier. Anyone have a write up?

going back on what i said.. started on pulling the head today.. should finish tomorrow night the LOTS of cleaning up till the parts come, then putting everything back together... THEN i can finish cleaning the car up.

after i fix this issue i plan on:
                                re shaping the front lip
                                window tinting
black out the tail lights a little better
get the chrome off! its going black
rims are getting a nice new coat of paint
                                interior getting an overhaul
and.... im sure i forgot something
