    blue rocket (1987 325is)

This build is right now my DD because... I'm poor Bahamas. So this is my dream BMW build but because of my lack of a large ammount of cash, its going to be long and mostly on a budget

Well since this is going to be a longer "build" I will give you the long back story first. My parents gave me a Plymouth voyager as my first car which I immediately traded for a 1989 GMC S-15 (great truck BTW). After about 6 months the tyranny shit the bed and I need to gwr a running DD as soon as possible. The great part of all of this was the tyanny died on the day I needed my truck to take 2 gocarts to a Guy down the road. I had only met him once at my brother in laws house and barley knew him but he said he wanted some go Katy's he would trade me a gun for mine. Anyway, I borrowed a friends truck and took the go marts down to this Guy and his entire front lawn was full of e30s. We started talking about them and I half joked about trading my newly usely truck and $300 to drive my favorite one home that night and without thinking or even seeing my truck he said sure. So I drove my poor little truck 23 miles on a blown tyranny to get my car.. for $300. The car I wanted was previously owned by a close friend of mine (ironically) but I still didn't know much about it other than the PO had taken well enough care of it to keep it in good condition. Anyway, here she is. A 1987 325is with 230xxx miles on it. Ran strong but needed new plugs the night I picked it up

Custom interior? I'm not sure but I know it was redone. Used to be tan

Drivers seat is black and mismatched. But it works

PO hit a tree... gave it this nasty scar.

Coolant resivoir off a different model.. I got the original one though (yet to be reinstalled)

Engine bay already looks better than this, but I have a feeling it will take a while to look. Great

So far I have put in new ngk r plugs in, smoked the tail lights, smoked the highbeam, put a fresh coat of black paint on everything black, installed aftermarket head unit, and infinity 12" and a 10" running on 280 Watts, weldded 2 magnaflow resonators in place of a muffler (old one was rusted through) and washed it about 15 times. Oh and changed all fluids. As of yesterday it needs a new pulse sensor which I'm picking up tomorrow. Other than, I'm just slowly working on turning to a speed demon. I will post updates and progress pics ASAP.

That thing needs some work but looks like a good start. Someone riced that out pretty well.

Yay! Its raining like a bitch today so no update pictures. My plan for the next 2 weeks is to clean the engine up and get it running 100 percent. I'm gonna keep the chrome and interior for a while because with everything being covered by rice, its one less thing to worry about when I'm crawling around inside. The car was originally gold, the proffesionally painted red, then blue so I'm a little worried about pulling the chrome off.. not sure what's under neath. And thanks for all the support guys. Its needed
