took the car to fourpeaks over the weekend, fun road. Had a blast passing jeeps and lifted trucks while putting it sideways around the corners

The lower skid is stainless steel to protect the pan, the front skid is aluminum mostly to hide the cooler and lower rad

This is pretty cool. If some one tore up a Touring, they'd probably get some flak.
However, an E30 Cross Country would be achieved. This also reminds me of the Peugeot 505 Dangel range, cept' w/o 4wd. Very cool.

Put a rack on, now just need to find a wind deflector

I was reading about your spring setup and found reference to the rear e36 springs but only saw this inreference to the front:

Yes, stock front from a vert ( I think they are the same)
Looking at posts 31 and 33, I was checking out the front height and see that you went from an extreme front "rake" on pages 1 & 2 to a fairly level stance by page 3.

Did you make any changes to the front springs to acheive that level stance?

I race in the same series/region as Irish44j (who posted on page 1) and I have a slight rake that I want to try to level out. I am on stock springs all around but by removing weight I have gained almost 2" in the back but only about 3/4" in the front.

                      Thanks!
                      Patrick Henry

God I love this thing. I've got a pretty beat up Thule wind deflected. It was painted by the PO and when I tried to get the paint off it all sorta just mushed around and balled up. I'd let it go pretty cheap if you want it. You could certainly make it look nicer but I just bought another one.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
