    It pulls like anything I have ever driven before. The torque kicks in so fast its rediculous...17-18PSI in less then 1 second... scary as f*K to drive.. now I need a clutch and wheels and tires... Damn it it never stops :( oh and more brakes... damn boost addiction.

    Guy at the dyno was shocked...he tought I was some ricer trying to be show cool with a twincharged system...LOL... plus I got about 8 PSI in the bank that I can unlock with a twist on the BLV... god forbid

    ***UPDATE***

    BIG NEWS got to the dyno finally to do some spark tuning and see how 17.5PSI with 14 degrees would work. Well good news... made over 400HP and the torque is unreal at really early RPM.... bad news my clutch is burned..I started dropping at 5K high RPM realfast so we stopped. But the car is a beast.... overall am happy. Now I need a clutch any recommendations? street/strip not too expensive...???

    Yeah I'm trying to build kind of a street-able drift beast so I have a BB GT42 and an M90 XD I may try setting it up the way I'd planned just as a purely curious experiment so we can figure out which is better, do you know of any reason this would be severely worse? All I'm thinking of is that with the GT42, if I fed it 12-15psi from the supercharger, it would start out having spooled to nearly that boost level -close to 350 horsepower- from idle and then I could set the turbo to as little as like 5-8psi and only have to wait for those few more pounds to spool.

    Yeap exact I always have throttle response and also dont forget that my Supercharger is a roots type so its always pushing 1 Liter of air(M62) threw the engine so the exhaust it creates always spools my Big GT35 a good 1000rpm faster(making my engine behave more like a 3.5L) then if it was just the 2.5L engine pushing it.

    Hey no problem my man I got no problems explaining this at all. What happens was at first my limited amount of reading I had wanted to set it up that way but the more I read the more I was convinced especially after seeing and reading on the lancia delta S4 group B rally that turbo feeding the SC was the way to make power. That is why and those it make power wow! I love the fact that the SC is there making power before the Turbo which is its primary strength making boost sooner...then the turbo adds in the to mix to make serious amount of torque at all times.

    Little update the BLV is working like a charm I have been successful at limiting power at 17PSI and got a lot of tuning done last night as I had great hopes to go to the drag race today and of course it just had to rain again..(4 weekends in a row now) open bracket drag racing is on sundays here and cant seem to have a clear day its been raining here non stop...:(

    But the good news is the car is almost all tuned (still need a good dyno session for spark timing ) but runs very strong, its strong acceleration and no lag if I can have traction I maybe be able to break in the 11's...feels like a 11's second car right now.

    Maybe I'm missing something, but in all of your photos it looks like the turbo is feeding the supercharger not the way you had said here. Is there any reason for doing it the way you did rather than this ^? I see you have the air filter on the TURBO and you are using it to feed the supercharger and I just wanted to know why this is different from above.

    Like, I'm not trying to "call you out" or sound cocky and no-it-all, I'm just curious.

    The valve is closed shut with strong metal clip.

    The extra valve is a great way to protect your engine and to control boost on a twincharged setup. You could always pulley the crank to 5" and 3" SC pulley on my car I have a 6" crank and 2.6" SC pulley to bring the boost down from 10 PSI to 6 PSI or so and then 8 PSI from turbo should give u 17.25PSI approx. I initially used a M50 crank and with my 2.6" pulley(smallest u can put on the SC btw) I only got 3-4PSI max.

    I want to be a bit more conservative then you and limit my boost to around 17ish psi maximum so I'm assuming I can do that without the extra valve you added?

    nope, the throttle body is before the charger ...the roots only compresses the air that I let in. The bypass valve is there on stock for extra fuel efficiency at idle and part throttle but It removes a lot of the instant ready torque. In my twincharged the BOV is placed before the throttle to release the extra boost from the turbo when I close the throttle. And I also added a BLV after the SC but thats too limit overall boost and protection.
