    The DRDY 30 gets a S52!

    So I picked up a 1999 S52 out of a Automatic convertible with 130k.

    Iv started ordering swap parts
    Im going to use a 260 trans
    24v 260 trans brace
    e21trans mounts
    AKG harness and motor mounts
    ebay headers
    E30/E36 Eyeball Arms - Control Arm Bushing Set
    Billy sport with H&R race spring with E90 drop hats
    KAMOTORs Cold Air Intake
    Euro smiles
    technique sway bar kit

    Im driving up to seattle to pick up 260 and 325 driveline,flywheel and selector rod.

    I still need to pick up a E34 oil pan and OBD1 harness and Intake.

    All the parts should be arriving next week

          Are you planning on rebuilding it at all/doing any maintenance? Or just doing the OBD1 conversion and tossing it in?

            I am going to replace all the seals, gaskets and hoses.

            anyone recommend me doing anything while its out? Still have a little left in the budget.

              Picking up OBD1 harness and Intake. Transmission brace came in the mail yesterday. Went up to seattle yesterday and picked up G260,driveline and 3.73LSD. Everything has fell into place. Just need a Flywheel and parts to arrive!

                Everything you can.

                Remember to address the oil pump nut.
                Timing components (guides, chains themselves) are a good idea. Tensioners can be done later with relative ease.
                If you aren't doing the HG I suppose that's all I'd recommend on top of the usual gaskets and cooling system.

                      Today I pulled the M42 and driveline, got all old suspension. Billy sports and H&R race will be here tomorrow. Degreased the WHOLE engine bay and new Trasmission and 3.72

                        Its Been a little while but between waiting on parts and running into minor issues, I have the S52 with M50 Manifold converted to OBD1 back together and harness hooked up. Motor should be in and will try to start it tomorrow.
