    Farm-Fresh 325e

Let me forewarn you. This is one of the ugliest E30's you may ever see.

This car has been sitting for 5 years in a friend's backyard, and I've pestered him about it the entire time. He recently moved out of state and left me the car. It was parked because the A/T failed. Apparently it still ran when parked. And it was in the process of being painted when the A/T failed...or something :loco:

I'll be towing it home next weekend to see if I can make it presentable again.

I'm honestly not sure what my intentions with this car are

The exterior is free of major dents or damage, and the interior is in surprisingly good condition (Not counting the dash).

For the time being, I'm going to see if I can get it to run, and to the paint booth in the near future.

    This is my personal favorite

Long-term, I will 5 speed swap it. If I can get the engine to run, I'll likely leave it auto for a little while since I already have a spare transmission for this car. If the ETA is toast, I'll swap something with considerably more HP and a 3rd pedal ;)

My current car is an E34 M5. It's a fine car and I daily drive it with no problems. If the ETA runs, I'll just restore this e30 and daily it. If it doesn't, I'll continue DD'ing the M5 and swap something cool in the e30 with a 3rd pedal.

I've M50 swapped my last e30, and that was fun, but I want something with more power (M60) ;)

I finally brought it home yesterday. It's worse than I remembered!

                        The interior isn't TOO bad.

                        Sitting among the fleet :p

I only made a little progress today since it was 40 degrees outside and I'm a wuss.

I pulled the plugs out (Autolite of course), sprayed wd40 in the spark plug holes, and turned the engine over.

Fortunately the engine isn't frozen, but the coil isn't putting out spark although it is getting 14v. I'll trace that down next time and see if she has any life left in her. ;)

Put some crazy horsepower motor in there and leave it looking the way it is. Bet you will get some interesting reactions.
