    got the pistons clean today 2 hours of elbow grease and 200k miles of carbon is gone. Also got the shaved valve cover finished and ready for paint

    got the 885 head back from the machine shop today. 300 for full rebuild and cleaning new guides, decked and welded water channels. so i have now have a new 885 head with welded channels for $400

    got the manifold back today from the welder. he did a great job for 100$ and sanblasted it too. he also welded the -16 AN fitting where the bitch tube used to go, Hope this explains what Im doing with that a little better Fabrin. ill do another on the block and then run a line between the two. I also polished the emblem tonight in prep for the wrinkle coat im gonna shoot just have to file the edges and weld a little first

    Sadly, this EXACTLY what is going through my mind with my build, just cant stand the thought of wrecking a car with that many hours into just engine bays body work.
