Maybe if you could read you would see that you are quoting me wrong. Never said I'm going to make SO MUCH POWER. I said for HOW MUCH power I will be making it doesn't matter. People need to realize that speed isn't just power. But when the car can corner at 1g that's where good track timed come from. I give literally 0 shits about going fast straight. Because something will always be faster at that. The flared do matter to me because I am a gruppe 5 fan. Thats what I'm going for as I said.

Anyways went to u-pick and got some awesome headers for $25

Also by adding the flares and kicking the tires out like I am I have increased my track by 8 inches meaning more corner grip

Got some analysis to back that up? I'm interested to see how adding 8" of track affects your camber curve at the ride height you're planning on.

This does make sense, but you will gain more camber pushing the wheels out further. Can be good or bad, depending on your setup.

I'm curious about the loads in your wheel bearings, too. By inverting your wheels like that, you've greatly increased the static moment on those bearings.

I'm just curious how that engine is going to fit in the bay. If it fits well I'd like to try the same thing with a little spin. And nice score on the headers you lucky dog.

Didn't know we had so many race engineers lurking on this forum! Good to know! Sure the car might eat hubs a little faster and yes the camber curve will be affected by the added track width but I doubt that there is anyone on this forum that is fast enough for any of that to matter. It's a NASA (I'm assuming?) or track day car, it's seriously not that big of a deal:

If you are so concerned with cornering speeds then why is your car on BC coils? I like the intake (a lot, might try to expand on your idea), and the flares, but there's a lot of mental masturbation in this build. Keep it up though, I wanna see some dyno plots!

The crazy changes and idea swaps is just cause thats how i am. Nothing is set in stone until i finish it. Listen there are a milliin regular e30s little mods like bags and turbo and blah blah blah some are amazing. So i think its fair that one (mine) can be a little different and whatever i want. I dont car if it has 10000000hp. If i can have a car i tuink looks awesome and i have fun racing it and taking it to shows that thats it. If i want a fast car ill jump in the e46 m3 with 470hp/450tq that weighs 2000lbs and has amaxing track geometry
