Does the new carpet have the different material where your heel sits when driving or is it one huge chunk of fabric?

This, and is there foam added to the places where the OEM one is so that it maintains the stock shape in the footwells?

Looks great! Just wondering...what did you use to paint the trim pieces such as the console, and kick panels?

Yes the material is different under the pedal area.

Yes it does have some padding but not a lot.

This carpet weighs probably about 1/5 what the factory carpet does. In some senses, thus is more like what I wanted than factory (weight/texture) but its going to take some work to get it to fit right. If it doesn't fit right - ill just buy OEM but I think I can make this a viable solution. Ill keep everyone posted because if it is, it saves a boatload over the factory set.

BBS RC's that are for the e30 m3 - they fit "hella flush" to the fender line sans spacers. They are NLA in this offset with the concave look from my understanding.

Duplicolor vinyl/trim paint in black - matches very well with the few new factory dash pieces input in.

Speedware motor sports lowered brackets - they make them in house the and they take the seat down by a few inches
