You used the massive brake kit right? How is that compared to stock?Leave a comment:

This is a great radiator for the swap. Inlet/oulet positioning is ideal and it fits between the frame rails with about 1.5" to spare on each side.

Had some fun with a solstice gxp today, ended up holding him off with his front bumper to my rear bumper. All the while slamming into the rev limiter in 3rd and taking a second or two before getting back on the throttle in fourth. Time to get the tach working. I'm impressed with what this motor has, I guess Ford isn't all that bad....Leave a comment:

Just finished removing the front bolt from the fuel tank, and bashing in some areas of interest.
120mph, no vibration! Track time.
Also got a chance to install the Massive booster delete kit. Gotta give credit when due, that guy makes one hell of a kit. Going from stock ratio manual brakes to 6.2:1 is amazing, I over did it a few times on the ride home getting used to it.Last edited by Exodus_2pt0; 04-13-2013, 03:52 PM.Leave a comment:

Edit: Its actually around 60-65 psi idle warm. Verified on the drive in today. 80 on start up.
New radiator in:

Water pump is scary close, but I have given a few very hard romps, and no touching.

Wrapped the entire exhaust (minus shorties) to keep under hood temps down.

front shot, need another screw in my plate.

Between the radiator and exhaust wrap, I have seen a very significant improvement between driving temps, and just how it feels when I open the hood.
After idling for about 10 minutes (already warm), I am getting around 205* on my hand held thermal temp gauge at the thermostat.Last edited by Exodus_2pt0; 04-13-2013, 11:46 AM.Leave a comment:

I am interested on how your water and oil temps are at idle after a 15min drive.Leave a comment:

That's very similar, I don't know the exact part number though as I traded the mustang radiator for this one from my neighbor. It was bnib though so I'll see if he has any more info.Leave a comment:

Any chance you could be a saint and post or send me a link to said radiator?Leave a comment:

Had a nice ride home tonight with the needle riding right at the 1/4 mark.
Ended up getting a Champion aluminum 2 row radiator that fit in between the rails. I had to cut off the stock mounts, and used some angle iron to hold the bottom, welded to the body. A little modification to the stock top retainer, and she's ready to roll.
Also installed the condenser fan and bypassed the resistor. Now when I press the a/c switch, air starts moving. I can finally idle for as long as I want without the needle going past the 1/2 mark. With a 160* thermostat I'm now hitting about 205 at an idle with the fan on.Leave a comment:

Mine runs about 185-190 in normal driving and lower on the freeway. Traffic it'll creep. Ive never had it in stop and go but the only time ive had it get. "Too high" was in line at a drift event on a 95 deg day. Track temps were closer to 105. Climbed up to like 225 and i shut it down. Lol ambiant temps wound up killing my coil then melting my clutch cable lining. This is with a half dead pusher 525 rad and zero ducting.
Ill be going with an aftermarket alum rad, taurus fan and custom ducting/mounts for this season tho.Last edited by eurotrash; 04-11-2013, 09:19 AM.Leave a comment:
