Curious about why you used the John Deere paint. Is it special in some way?

It's pretty heat resistant, not to mention very hard to remove (ie: won't flake off, etc.) A friend of mine who does a lot of high end cars swears by it, and I've used it on a lot of stuff with good results.

Won't be putting the S50 in tonight, though. Knock sensors are fucked (explains my intermittent cutting out issue at 6k.) That's ok, though, gives me time to clean everything up all nice like! Installing the harness and trans here in a few minutes and will have it all ready to put the intake on tomorrow!

It looked too pretty to not put together, so I said fuck it, and did it anyway. Knock sensors will be easy peasy to change while it's still on the stand.

Had school and work today, along with a rotten headache, so I threw the knock sensors on and decided to go home. Tomorrow, I wire up the motor and install flywheel/trans and drop it in the car!

This POS is running...finally!! Time to button it up and figure out an unloading relay issue.

Got a new starter today. I think that will fix my unloader relay issue. Will button shifter and driveline up and take it for a test drive tomorrow!
