That rear filler piece is awesome, it really changes the look of the early model rear. Where did you find it?

like that plate filler as well, and with the euro bumpers it is a dramatic change. I get keeping an M10, makes sense to me as well. Keep up the good work.

I might plasti-dip the filler black for supreme e21-ness, just for a while to change it up. Like i said, i still have some playing around to do with it, which might even be taking it off but its a rare piece and throws a bit of uniqueness in the e30 scene.

Agreed, ebay baby! Its definitely real, the alpina is molded inside the plastic, not just a decal over the top.

Motor goes in tomorrow, i will post pics of final assembly and install then. We got the tranny bolted up tonight complete with new clutch. Also a new water pump, it will be getting a new guibo, new heater core lines, Shift linkage bushings, and some other stuff. I shouldnt have to do a damn thing to this car for a good long while, i cant think of anything i havent replaced at this point, except for maybe the alternator. and power steering pump.

Update!!! Motor is in!!! However, we had a snag with the cam/dizzy combo and we are currently waiting on a dizz from Ireland Engineering. Once it arrives Friday she will be back on the road with all the new goodies! Clutch feels great, shifter is back to normal (there was a broken mount that we replaced) and now ill be pumpin 2.0 liters around!!!

Time to find a 320i badge for the back! Heres just a few of the motor going in...i would have loved to taken a couple weeks and really cleaned everything but time is a factor for this little DD and CAtuned needs their lift back!!!

                Everything re-installed...

Major update...well motor is in and running, nothing really new to show since the last pic of the engine in, just a different distributor. But so far so good, 1.8 to 2.0L and running strong for over 100 miles now. I took a quick photo at the end of my street, to showcase the current status before stance. Coilovers should be any day now, then i should be content for a while.... but i am starting to look at turbos. We will see. Fresh wax job on the alpinewiess.

K, couple more. I know i know, super 4x4. Blame the US government.

OK, I'll say it. You need to lower that thing.

So it ended up being a 2.0, cool. Yup distributor rotation is opposite then the 1.8.
