Gorgeous blue bro. Kinda reminds me of that light metallic blue on the newer mazda 3's.

Thanks for all the responses guys!

Unfortunately I only have time to work on her tuesdays from 3pm to around midnight but things have been coming along piece by piece.
Just finished up and installed most of the rear suspension and test fitted the wheels (apex arc-8 17x9 et30)

Ill need a bit of a roll and pull but I think they look good and meaty, what do you guys think?

any insights would be helpful, also, if anyone is around the Philly/West Chester area and has some knowelage and time on their hands, id love some help!

You couldn't have chosen a better set of wheels. Looks fantastic! Can't wait to see it all together

should of figured out that tire fitment b4 paint. Rolling fenders with fresh paint may be a difficult task without destroying the inner fender paint.

Love seeing blue e30s. Great choice on the color. It'll be a bitchen street car when done. That said, the cage... Not gonna pass anyone's tech except maybe a nhra inspector. Are there even floor plates? Couldn't see any. If not all thats gonna happen is the pipes will punch threw the floor. They might even crack the sheetmetal around the weld just from body flex during normal driving. And the shock tower braces, should of been welded to reinforcement plates. Not directly to the sheet metal. Those will for sure punch right threw the towers in any impact. And again may tear the sheet metal due to body flex. On the wheel thing, probly should of fitted before paint. Rolling is gonna crack the paint, pulling may do it to depending on how much is needed.

Not trying to be a dick, truly do like the build. Just trying to spread a little knowledge.

Here's a couple pics of a properly done shock tower reinforcement. This is actually a little over kill as most builders just make plates. Here he actually wrapped the entire tower.

Thanks for all the insights, ultimately I just wanted the car for some local auto-x events and fun street driving, it started to spiral out of control when the car was at the body shop when we added the cage. We did weld in all reinforcement plates on the interior of the car, we did not on the strut towers simply out of negligence. I did not realize until after everything was painted and such that we should have reinforced the tower, that being said, the car will not be competitively raced nor will it be a spec-e30 car or such. Just something fun to build on a limited budget for a very individual street machine.

The reason the tires were not fitted before hand was once again, budget...
The fenders only have to be rolled and ever so slightly pulled, the car will not be on its nuts but it will me nice to have a little bit of tuck.

anyone know anybody with experience doing this with a roller?
Ive done it a few times but would like some further insight on it once i purchase a roller.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Ill post pictures as the progress continues.
