Been driving this car almost every day this week. Runs awesome. So much fucking fun, especially on the freeway. The Supersprint is music to my ears. I never thought much of them until I owned one. Half tempted to sell my UUC that's on the red car to get a Supersprint for that!

Where would one find a Supersprint replica catback?

I believe it was an eBay find. Not 100% on that, however.

Haven't done much to this besides drive it for the last few weeks. However, I have picked up some goodies for it and am going to start the next part of the transformation - interior and cosmetics.

I picked up a really nice anthracite (early model gray) carpet, a clean dash, a nice set of door panels, a minty leather rear seat, a set of smileys, late model shadowline door moulding, a euro valance and spoiler, among tons of other stuff (pics to come.)

Today, I think I will start prepping some stuff for paint. I was considering shadowlining the entire car, but I am a little undecided on that, but I definitely will do the late-model shadowline (the inside chrome piece on the doors and pop-out windows.) Every single trim piece on the car will be removed, prepped and painted with John Deere blitz paint.

                  Suggestions are welcomed!

Painted all the trim. Outside drying still is the mirrors, late model shadowline fender trim and door handles. Happy with how it all turned out!

Also installed the rear euro bumper the other day:

It's so remarkable how well these cars clean up with the right bumpers.

Sweet project man. I wish I could swap around motors as quick as you, you went hard!

What are the specs on the e30 exhaust midsection you used? 2.25" or 2.5" tubing? I'm assuming single since it's an eta..?

                        Early models do it better.

Thanks dude! This was stock 325i midsection and cat, so I assume that's 2" back? I don't remember. Dual pipes from headers back.

Oh it is duals, gotcha. I might have to look for something like that.. I have yet to decide on an exhaust setup but this is great food for thought!

Gonna put a dash and a full black sport interior in this damn thing this week. I think I'll rip the ES cow catcher off. Looks retarded with the rear euro bumper.

It's amazing how many parts I've stashed away for this, and have no time to install them, but when I do have time, I'm so unmotivated to do anything but drive it. lol

Busted my ass and did the dash swap yesterday. Once I did that, I finally got my motivation back to do something else with the car. I swapped the tan for black sport interior this afternoon.

It's kinda funny, I've gotten really good at dismantling in a very small amount of time...reassembly, not quite so much. Hahah
