The final part needed for my suspension showed up Friday!

Thinking about taking a half day this Friday and going to town on the car. Finish stripping the undercoating, stitch welding. Build the coilovers, replace ball joints, reinforce the front subframe and finish pulling apart the rear trailing arms to reinforce, install new bushings, clean up the half shafts, pull apart the Diff. for a little overhaul. I want this on the ground by the first part of May!

What rates did you go with? I see 750R.

The fronts are 525lbs. I was going to go with the 550, but they were on back order and Trevor at gc wasn't sure when they'd be in. we'll see his this holds up. I now have the aluminum heads, and just ordered a new aluminum intake that is lighter then the stock so I won't be supporting as much weight as I originally thought.

Koni's, I'm going 5-lug so I got the cut-n-gut inserts. koni's in the rear too, although I'm thinking about selling mine and going with the 77' Porsche 911 shocks. They have external adjustment......not sure if it's worth the price though.

I know this is kinda random, but if you haven't...get the gc tall rsm's. My friend has them on his car and they're awesome! I definitely plan on a set this summer.

I already have the turner motorsport mounts....

What is the advantage of the tall mount?

I don't think thats going to be an issue. Plus my cars first priority is performance, I could care less about getting low as possible. If it handles well that's what matters. I need to make sure my shoes fit.......

Not really more low... The springs won't drop out when you lift the rear of the car. It's quite nice, actually. But if you have some already, then I wouldn't bother.

Ah nice! I was going to make some tie-down brackets that would attach to the shock mounts, figured I could always do a limit strap to the chassis to help eliminate that problem too.
