If bmw thought 24v were so great why did they put an the all mighty m20 in?

Everyone is allowed one mistake in life. BMW used theirs on the M20. They saved themselves with the 24v motors.

Well I didn;t do anything e30 specific this weekend, although parts keep coming in, megasquirts being built etc.......I did however get to play with some fast cars......and at one point, my driveway was worth more then the house.

The car just finished its motor break in......custom built forged blah blah blah with a custom direct port no2 system from nitrous outlet......it was more then a handful. As the owner says....."it's like squirrel hunting with a rocket launcher, completely unnecessary, but you'd do it if you could!"

His old man showed up to watch during the afternoon.....
