        Things will start moving again.......Enjoy.

              get what you pay for............

              EDIT-

Let me clarify, what you see below is NOT a broken manifold. It a picture after I cut the tubes from the flange. The ports didn't line up with the head and I wasn't going to continue building this thing knowing that. So I cut everything up and started piecing it back together correctly.

Lined up the flange to the ports, now I'm slowly pulling the tubes to the ports and welding them up.

I doubt it... By the time Asians are 8 they are at least three times as smart as us white folk. It had to be a newborn.

Was it a weight issue or did you do something?

When I mounted the manifold up to the head I noticed that the last three ports where significantly out of line. So the first picture is after I removed the flange from the assembly and cut it in half. it allowed me to line up the ports. they were all about 1/4"+ off.

-The first picture shows where the flange should be and where the ports meet it.

when your typical coils just aren't enough........

                            Oh......and this is happening........

Tigging the cast turned out better then I thought it would. All in all, a stupid amount of work.....don't look forward to doing that again anytime soon.

I like to use SS filler rod on about all my mild/SS welds. I have er70 also but for some reason the SS 308L just seems more fluid if that makes sense? It puddles easier.

Thanks, It was a giant PITA, probably have 6hrs in the trailing arms, notching that sq. tube to fit right was ridiculous. I'm going to try and get the diff. mount finished this week and the trailing arms and subframe painted.
