well 7 months later it finally happed Im not extremly happy with the out come but it does look good. Theres a few things Im going to have to have redone and fix, alot of parts were not installed or broken.

a picture of it at the body shop.

      and one of the wheels.

thats all for now untill I can take some decient picture with a real camera, but I already started working on her. I replaced every seal on the car, trunk, both rear pop out windows, sun roof, front door weather seals inner and outter, all weather stripping aorund the windows, and polished out some of the window trim. All I need left are the door seals and hood seal but other then that shes water proof almost :D

im still working on the caps and how im going to attemp to do them, I didnt realize they are 68mm then 70mm so they are a little small. my goal is to get them centered and keep them even with the hex on the cap.
      and a picture or two

Keep up the good work! The wheels you had on at the body shop were BMW Z4 options wheels, btw. Used to have `em on my E36 325is.

                  Can't wait to see more!

Where did you get the carbon fiber weave roundels? I ask because I bought one like it for my hood from a eBay seller in China. After about a month it was yellow as hobo urine.

Yeah I got mine from a seller on eBay from china too, I've had my hood and trunk emblems for at least 2 years now with out a problem? I hope these don't yellow. :( Thanks for the warning though, I'd be pissed if they turned hobo urine yellow.

                          Thanks man

Ok so over the weekend I got a chance to work on the car I changed the engine ground and the FPR, but heres what took up the most time, the center caps. Well I got them finished and they look good.

what I wanted them to look like

What I wanted to do at first was to epoxy them in place just like that, but then I thought if I want to ever remover them easly ever again that wouldn't have been the best idea. So my next thought was a screw and nut and a drill...

Work out great and completly removable 8) and here is the finished product.

                          and on the e30

All in all I'm happy with the out come. :-D

Thank you.... That was the idea though, and the fact that they are also smaller then what suppose to be in there makes it look like they are sticking out much further then what they really are because of the shadow behind it. In person it looks much better.

Ok so earlier this week I had the car up on a lift at the shop, well you would think that a body shop would know that open raw metal would rust right? Well I guess not!

                                drivers side rear valance

                                passanger side rear valance

Instead of getting pissed or anything I went ahead and fixed it myslef like what I should've done in the first place.

All taped up, I didn't get a picture but I used plasitc to cover the rest of the car from over spray.

                                \

                                Rust treated and and dryed.

                                Rubber undercoat dried

Even hit the back of the rear valance wheel well

                                What I used

While all of that was happening I was able to get something out of this

I scored the antenna!!! :D and installed it, the paint shop lost my orginal z3 antenna and replaced it with the stock e30 one which they bought new form the dealer, but I dont like the electic antennas so I traded it off for this one.:D

Sorry no picture of it installed I will get a picture of it as soon as I can!! Oh and I was also able to intsall a new head unit which I love and I will aslo get pictures of it up tomorrow and maybe a video too!

and some pics of the car ;)
