It's actually been starting better recently, but it's been warm out. Maybe some combination of bad gas and cold weather...

Ordered tires for my Weds. Tire choice in 16" sucks.

        What I'll end up with:

        Front
        16x7 et13 + 18mm adapter
        205/45r16 dunlop direzza dz101

        Rrear
        16x8 et25 + 18mm adapter
        215/50r16 dunlop direzza dz101

It's going to be tight up against the fenders, but I think I can get away with a roll, since I don't plan to run it extremely low.

Everything should be mounted by this weekend, ideally.

I would like to see how the wheel look on your car. I going to do the same thing like you. I have Hartge's 5x120 front 16x7.5 et13 16x8.5 et25. I rolled my fender but I think I need to roll some more.

Our wheels are the same dimensions, I think, so this will be interesting.

The other issue aside from front fender clearance is turning the front wheels - they might hit the rear bulkhead if they're that far out.

If these don't work out, I do have a set of e23 style 5's as backup.

If your any lower then stock, and I mean ANY lower, you will probably rub. All you really have to do is roll up that little inner lip and your good.

I threw the wheels on yesterday, actually. The rears will tuck in decently, but the fronts are the major problem.

Do you have pics of wheels on your car? On Saturday I was testing fitting my Hartges on the front of my e30. This car has e36 5 lug pushes out 13mm. I was trying to get a idea how it would look like with close 18mm adapters.

The D101's run narrow so that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

that's good to know. I'll have them on thursday, and I've arranged to borrow a fender roller, so they'll be on by the weekend :D
