MO is on the list. In fact, all 48 states would be nice, time permitting.3 years! Insane. I bought that cheap alpine early model off of you in Chicago literally right before you left for Europe.
That was right after some legal trouble I was having. I now have a family with a one year old boy, did a stint in Asia, and have owned 4 e30s since that.
Well, what a trooper that car was, I put over 20k on that car in about a year and only changed the oil. Ran even better than when I got it (which was pretty decent) and made some great memories. You Erhamza dudes are pretty kickass and I'm quite positive we will find a way to have one of ya'll in SW Mo again, lots of 24v and 2002 work going on around here.
Subscribed.
I actually think that was the best starting E30 one could've asked for. Where did it go?
Looking forward to seeing you again and meeting the family
Yeah, wouldn't say it went to shit, but it was driven daily and it just accumulated a bunch of problems. Nothing we can't handle ;)Wow that's Howard's old car? It went to shit after he had it. I sold the tech I kit to him for it.
Thinking he bought the RZ's as well from me can't remember that one. It was on craigslist Boston and when I noticed it I thought it was Unhcll's old converted Tech I. He said no as he parted his out.
Did you talk him down?
Talked him down a little of course.
Actually, Toronto and Vancouver are on the list!
Thanks for the positive feedback people!

Actually I think I grabbed the RZ's from you but the Mtech 1 kit I pieced together from England, Germany, and the US... I actually had the kit in my basement and searched for a "rust free" car.Wow that's Howard's old car? It went to shit after he had it. I sold the tech I kit to him for it.

I can tell you that in the 3 years or so since I owned it downhill is an understatement.. That was a FL car that got a new(er) motor (thanks Levent) and a new/used/rust free OE muffler (thanks again Levent)... The arches always pissed me off as I am the one that took off the damn chrome covers... We replaced most of the rear to get rid of that bucking... I was able to get it to mostly go away when I had it - diffsonline was going to be my next solution.
But the peeling visor, leaks, etc.. None of that was there two years ago... I hate leaks... Turk - thought it was going to be in better shape.. kid clearly did the "bare minimum" to keep it on the road... Oh, and the reason the back bumper is off is because the clip on the inside of the euro bumper broke off and my 35* and late for a BBQ liquid nails job/macguyver wasn't on point - one of the "I'll fix this right with new chrome when I paint it moves".
Glad to see that it's in good hands!Touring Build + Touring Complete (sold) - As featured in August 2010 Bimmer Magazine :)

Turk,
Happy to hear that you are going to make a stop in Missouri! Levent stopped in Kansas City on his last cross-country adventure, and it would be great to have you stop here, too! We can put together a nice meet for you, and I'm sure find you some digs for the night!
Cheers!‘Tis by the grace of God that my cars run!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.
