UPDATE! (2/19/2014)
So a few things have come up since my last post.
1. The axle was a little to close to the gas tank for comfort so it was stabilized and the rear diff bushings were installed.
2. Since the brake booster was removed, we opted for bigger rotors and brakes to help ease the brake pedal. (anyone know any other tricks to make the brake peddle softer?)
3. I have to buy new rims to clear the brakes.
So does anyone have rims for sale? I have the Kamoto Ultra Wide Fender Flares, so I would like to get rims as close to or wider than 10.5. But I will take something thinner also, just please send PM's.

So I purchased Kamoto's Ultra Wide fender flares not to long ago, and it is time for me to put them on and figure out what wheels/tires I want to run, but I have no idea. My wheel/tire game is terrible.
I don't want to give away my power goals, but lets say in the 400-700hp range (in the end).
Can anyone help me out with dimensions of the wheel and possible tire selections? Is 15", 16" or 17" best? Is a wider wheel better or a less wide wheel with a wider tire?
It would be awesome if i can get a nice fitment on the first go with these flares (I dont want a "slammed" look)My 2JZ e30 Build

What are your goals with the car? Weekend fun / show car, grip / drift, stance?
My car is 2j as well, heading towards 600whp and will be for track use (drifting). I am running 17x9 et03 up front and 17x12.5et08 in rear. I can run big tires all around no problem and its still low enough that I dont hate it

That's awesome you are running some huge tires, damn. I would love to run 12.5 in the back, but looking at your build thread, looks like you did some custom fender work to make it fit. I only have the Kamoto ultra wide fender flares, I don't think Ill have the same amount of space as you do.My 2JZ e30 Build
